The soft anchor line that does not harden.
Brackish water, waters with lots of vegetation, muddy ground. This is where the Taifun anchor line really comes into its own. In contrast to a chain, much less fouling can become entangled.
The Birolen polyester rope has many advantages: It is stretch-free, but still elastic enough to compensate for the boat being pulled in by wind and swell, thus preventing the anchor from breaking free.
A stainless steel thimble for the anchor is spliced in and rigged on one side.

The anchor rope with a lead core on the first 10 meters ensures that the anchor can dig in better. The length of the rope can thus be reduced and it may be possible to dispense without a chain leader on lighter boats. The boat accessories are particularly UV-resistant and hard-wearing, yet remain supple and twist-free. The stainless steel thimble (AISI 316) is firmly spliced in and rigged. The 6 kg cast iron folding anchor is hot-dip galvanised.
