The boat accessories are particularly UV-resistant and hard-wearing, yet remain supple and twist-free. The stainless steel thimble (AISI 316) is firmly spliced in and rigged.
The 6 kg cast iron folding anchor is hot-dip galvanised. The flukes of the folding anchor can be folded and locked for transport or storage purposes.
The rope and anchor are connected using the curved 12 mm shackle made of galvanised steel included in the scope of delivery.

The anchor rope with a lead core on the first 10 meters ensures that the anchor can dig in better. The length of the rope can thus be reduced and it may be possible to dispense without a chain leader on lighter boats. The rope has many advantages: It is stretch-free, but still elastic enough to compensate for the boat's indentation due to wind and swell and to prevent it from breaking away. In contrast to a chain, much less fouling can become entangled. The Birolen polyester rope has many advantages: It is stretch-free, but still elastic enough to compensate for the boat being pulled in by wind and swell, thus preventing the anchor from breaking free.
